Innana, June 2010

Finding her was an accident: she came with one of our apprentices to an event
that we were hosting. Relatively inexperienced, Innana quickly came into her own.
Second only to isis in awards received, she has defined a body of work that I never
dreamed possible. Stormy and mercurial, Innana’s essence commands the camera,
while the soft curves of her body transform light and shadow into an art all its own.
Afternoon Lyght was long the most popular series I ever created with a model. The
Mask recently supplanted that series. She is unconventionally beautiful; her full lips
and depth of her eyes reminiscent of the starlets of the 1930s.
