any other techniques you have learned. You have this unique oppor-
tunity to have presence and use your knowledge.

A Detach - Disengage from the event.

Learn from feedback. Do not take it personally - learn. Move on,
improve and start again.

These steps can be applied in a variety of situations - create your own
set of questions for each of these steps. It is my experience using these
steps and similar inquiries that the process positively effects my in-
teractions, and increases my value to friends, family and business en-
deavors. Asking just a couple of questions in each step has enhanced
my learning and contributions even in casual encounters - when I re-
member to do it, (effectively establishing habits is a different discus-
sion). Perhaps not everyone needs a structure to assist them in think-
ing through life - I do, and have found this one valuable.
