Set to the words of Bette Midler's The Rose and Edna St. Vincent Millay's poem about grief and loss, this series explores love, death, loss, grief and sadness against the background of a real-life experience. Only a few, representative, images are included in this booklet. Few experiences in life touch us as deeply or with as much power as the loss of someone we love. There are, as Edna St. Vincent Millay, reminds us, wounds that never heal. When Falcon created this series, he had no idea where it would take him, or the events which would ensue shortly thereafter. It is a pain he will carry with him forever.
