In January, I drove to the Lake Mattamuskeet
area in eastern North Carolina to participate
in a two-day Carolina Nature Photographers’
Association photo shoot. This was my second
venture to this area. In addition to shooting
around the lake, I also took time to explore the
surrounding counties, looking for old houses,
old barns, and other worthy subjects.
