From the moment I met her, I always had the
sense that there was so much more to her than
met the eye. She showed up for a shoot at the
burned out house with Devon, a model we met
somewhere along the way. The images from
the shoot with her and Devon were incredible
so about a year later we invited Marianne to
work with us at Belmont.

Every image was striking and powerful. There
was no end to what Marianne could do. At one
point I commented that if she just toned her
body a bit, she could have an incredible career
as a model. "No," she said, "I am not doing
that." I was taken aback.

A college student in Florida, Marianne disap-
peared after this shoot. I have heard from her
a few times in the years that have passed, but I
have no idea where she is or what she might be
doing. I would love to have her in front of my
camera again.
