Lastly, it is now possible to export to Lightroom and to Flickr.
If you have used version 7, you will find version 8 a bit slower. We asked the Optics Pro de-
velopment team about this and we were told that the improvements in the algorithm that drives
the conversion process have resulted in slower processing times. However, this change also im-
proves image quality. We can attest to the fact that this is true.

THE USER INTERFACE

While version 8 retains the overall look and feel of version 7, the layout of tool palettes is significantly
improved over previous releases. NOTE: Version 8 has two modes for lighting control—version 8’s
new controls and, for backward compatibility, you can select version 7 controls.
