Lets analyze the image:

1 The shadows fade softly into the distance. Notice - to the left of 3
the number one - you can now see the light from the walls on the
first floor. There is considerable detail in the floor as well and
a small table is now visible. Also, the two toned rug under the
larger coffee table can now be seen.

2 There is still a hot spot under her head. It is far less distracting 4
and if anything, it seems very natural under her hair. There is
also much more detail in the floor. Note too the shadow of the
leg of the chair - given where the light is coming from, this is
perfectly placed.
