Lighting
Recreating 1930's Glamour/3
ESSAY BY FALCON
So, imagine that you are working in a small room, and, no
sooner do you manage to get the lighting right, when the
model wants to change locations. You try to convince her
that changing locations isn't easy. In fact, you will have
to go through the process of determining how to light the
room again. By the time you do that, most of the time left
to shoot will be gone. But, no matter what you do, you
can't change her mind. Reluctantly, you agree.
In this edition of "Lighting the Un-lightable," we're going
to look at two problems: First, how can you light a small
room effectively, and second, how can you move lighting
from one room to another without starting from scratch.
