Lighting interiors is never


       easy. Reflective surfaces are


       everywhere. Nothing, however,


       compares to photographing a


       room lined with windows.




       We don't think of glass as re-


       flective. But it is - and it can


       be as reflective as any mirror.


       Even using strobes as large


       "fill flashes" doesn't work.





       Sometimes, as we shall see,


       the solution is counter in-


       tuitive, can defy logic and


       everything you have ever


       been taught about how to


       light a space.
