Turn Style Sling Bag

Turn Style Sling
         Bag

Years ago we had several sling bags, and to be
              honest, they didn't work.

They were clumsy and inevitably they left us sore and tired. Gear seemed to slip into all
kinds of hard to find places and getting into the pouch, well, in the field it just didn't work. So,
when the new Turn Style Sling Bag arrived, I was a little more than skeptical. If it had been sent
to us by anyone other than Think Tank, I might not have given it a try. But we know from years of
experience that Think Tank's careful design work and attention to detail made even failed ideas
successful.
So, after these photos were taken, I took the bag out for a test drive. I didn't expect much
so it would have been hard to be disappointed.

But I wasn't disappointed. Not at all. In
fact, I was elated.

As much as I love my Think Tank Retro bag, it isn't always suited for what I need. Some-
times I need a really small bag that I can keep close to my body. If you have ever been in a New
York Subway, or needed to move quickly through China Town without your camera bag bouncing
around, you know what I mean. This bag fit well to the contours of my body, moved easily around
me, and of course there were pockets everywhere. Need to get a lot of gear in a very small space?
This bag will do it.
There are other small detail that really make a difference int he field - like the hidden pouch
in the back of the bag for a tablet or a small laptop. Also, the zippers are long and they follow the
curve of the bag. This allowed me to get to the contents of the entire bag very quickly. Again,
something I appreciated. Getting my Canon 1Ds Mark III in took some doing, but I was able to.
I couldn't attach a lens to the body - well not easily - but in all fairness the bag isn't intended to
transport a lot of gear. Still, for a camera body, a lens or two, or a lens and a flash. Magnificent!
There is ample room for a wallet and passport, keys, batteries, memory cards, and more.
Working a wedding or an event and just need to carry another
lens or two and some additional accessories? Just throw this bag over
your shoulder and go.
