If ever we worked with someone who was born to be a

model, it was Jessyka.

She was just sixteen. We "found" her and Amy Rose on One Model Place. Despite our preference
for not working with any one under eighteen, we did make exceptions. Katherine was one. Jessyka
another. Amy Rose was at the top of her game at that time and we welcomed the opportunity to
work with her and Jessyka.

So, JD and I traveled to St. Louis to work with them. It was one of our longer road trips. We had
negotiated with the historic Mayfair Hotel and they allowed us to stay and work there in exchange
for doing some photography. Amy Rose took us to an abandoned house somewhere outside the
city. With Jessyka, we worked only in the Mayfair hotel. With Amy Rose we were to work two days,
however, on the second day, she became too ill to work.

We traveled to St. Louis twice. In all we worked with five models. By far and away, Amy Rose and
Jessyka were the best. Amy Rose was "non-traditionally beautiful" and she knew how to capture
the attention of the camera (see pages 108-109). But Jessyka, she was simply beautiful and she too
knew how to captivate the camera. On our second trip, Jessyka didn't want to work with us, though
patient coaxing finally got her out of her funk. The images were incredibly. According to her moth-
er, she remained rebellious and then we learned a few years later that she had left modeling and
had a child.
