Lighting the Un-lightable

                                               2015

“Lighting the Un-lightable” became a regular part of NyghtVision Magazine
in 2010. These four segments in the series were published in 2016.

In 2005, Falcon developed our NyghtVision Methodology which governs
how we light scenes across all our work. In 2015, Falcon discovered that his
methodology is similar to the theory of light for which Gabriel Lippmann
was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1908. At its core, our NyghtVision
Methodology is based on a simple idea - light the space, not an object, and,

render the volume of light in a space consistent.
Each of these four segments contains extensive notes and diagrams that
will help you understand how this methodology works. Two of these seg-
ments were held at Belmont in Reidsville, NC, and one, the segment featur-
ing Akira, was held in Pinehurst, NC. The architectural segment was 751 W.
