• Ask anyone where Mortimer, NC is, and they will likely tell you that they haven't a clue. For a very brief period of time, Mortimer was home to a mill driven by water power. Now, it is no more than a collection of abandoned concrete walls. This brook is behind the walls of an otherwise ruined building. There is a deep sense of loss, of mystery, of abandonment. Why would someone spend so much time and money and walk away? Mortimer is a place of unanswered questions. This tree stands behind the four remaining walls of what was once the main building. All of our prints are made using archival/museum quality paper and ink. We feature Innova fine art papers. This image is 12"x18" and is available is a number of papers. A vintage Pentax 6x7 lens was used. Not sure which one to purchase? Click here.
